September 2026 Newsletter

Happy September! As we step into the fall season, we want to share our gratitude for the wonderful neighbors who make Calabasas Village a true community. Thank you for your continued efforts in keeping our park vibrant, clean, and beautiful.

CALABASAS VILLAGE SUMMER BBQ & COMMUNITY EVENTS

  •   Park Contribution: Calabasas Village ownership is excited to be contributing again to this year’s Summer BBQ! We hope all of our residents have fun, as it is a great opportunity to meet new neighbors in the park.

  •   Future Events: Further discussions on additional future events are currently in the works with ownership and management!

CALABASAS RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM – OPEN POSITION

  •   Program Availability: Great news! There is currently an open spot available for the Calabasas Mobilehome Resident Rental Assistance Program.

  •   Apply Today: Last month letters were sent out letting residents know applications are being accepted, but no one has applied yet. There is only one space available (providing subsidies of at least $290), and we want to ensure qualified residents have the opportunity to take advantage of it. Reach out to Kami immediately for details and help applying!

HOME SALES & OCCUPANCY REGISTRATION

  •   Notice of Intent to Sell: We have noticed several homes for sale in the park that have not submitted a Notice of Intent to Sell. Notices were issued to all homes with “For Sale” signs, but only one has been returned. If your home is for sale (even without a sign posted), it must be registered with the office ASAP.

  •   Additional Occupants: All occupants living in your home must be registered with the office. Please have any additional occupants fill out the required forms and submit a copy of their ID. Additional occupants do not pay application or credit screening fees.

HOME IMPROVEMENTS & MAINTENANCE

  •   Home & Lot Improvements: All home and lot improvements must be approved by management prior to starting. Residents must submit all required forms, plans, permits, contractor licenses, and proof of insurance with Calabasas Village listed as additionally insured.

  •   Landscaping: Please keep all landscaping neat and pruned. Bushes, trees, plants, and flowers may not touch the home to prevent hazards. If you have a tree that requires maintenance, contact the office immediately.

  •   Water & Energy Awareness: Check your lot for leaks and adjust irrigation timers for late-summer/early-fall weather to avoid runoff. In the Fitness Center and Clubhouse, please turn off the A/C if you are the last to leave, and keep gym windows closed while the A/C is running.

PARKING, TRASH & PET RULES

  •   Pet Rules: Pets must remain ALWAYS on a leash throughout the park. Please clean up after your pet, including inside the dog park. Pet bag stations are placed throughout the park for your convenience.

  •   Trash Bins & Street Sweeping: All trash must be placed inside the trash bins, never outside. Please promptly return trash cans from the street after collection to clear the way for street sweepers on Fridays.

  •   Parking Regulations: All lanes are fire lanes; street parking is strictly prohibited. Vehicles must not extend past the gutter line, and guest parking is for visitors only.
