May 2026 Newsletter

Happy May! As we move into the peak of Spring and look forward to the Memorial Day holiday, we want to share our gratitude for the wonderful neighbors who make Calabasas Village a true community. Thank you for your continued efforts in keeping our park vibrant, clean, and beautiful.

RENT PAYMENT & ACCOUNT UPDATES

As we approach the middle of the year, please ensure your records are up to date regarding the 2026 rent adjustment that began on January 1st.

  •   Full Payments Only: The Park cannot accept partial payments or overpayments.

  •   Avoid Notices: To prevent administrative delays or the issuance of a formal legal notice, please verify that your payment matches the current amount on your billing statement.

  •   Auto-Pay Verification: If you use Zego (PayLease) or a third-party bank service, please confirm your “Monthly Total” is set to the 2026 rate.

  •   Balance Inquiries: If you have questions regarding your account status, contact the office immediately.

SAFETY SPOTLIGHT: ROADWAY COURTESY

With the warmer May weather, more residents are out walking and riding. Please keep safety a priority:

  •   Pedestrian Right of Way: Always yield to neighbors on foot.

  •   E-Bikes & Scooters: Electric bikes and scooters must follow all posted traffic laws and maintain a safe, slow speed.

  •   No Sidewalk Riding: For the safety of walkers, all motorized or electric transport is restricted to the roadways.

  •   Operator Requirements: Per Park Rule B, motor-driven vehicles may only be operated by licensed individuals.

COMMUNITY UPDATES & PROJECTS

  •   Management Team: If you haven’t already, please stop by the office to say hello to our Park Manager, Kami McNerney.

  •   Hillsides & Landscaping: Beautification efforts are ongoing near the tennis courts and Earnford guest parking. Please ensure guests and pets stay off the hillsides and ice plant areas to protect our healthy new growth.

  •   Rental Assistance: The City of Calabasas offers a program with subsidies of at least $290. If you would like more information or help with the application, reach out to Kami.

MAINTENANCE & EXTERIOR UPKEEP

  •   Safety Lighting: We continue to offer Solar Lighting for homes needing fixtures and Dusk-to-Dawn Bulbs for existing ones. Contact Kami or Douglas for an installation.

  •   Water Awareness: Please check your lot for leaks and adjust irrigation timers to avoid runoff during any late spring showers.

  •   Parking Regulations: All lanes are fire lanes; street parking is strictly prohibited. Vehicles must not extend past the gutter line, and guest parking is reserved for visitors only.

  •   Bulky Items: Trash collection is every Thursday. To schedule a bulky item pickup, contact Kami by Monday at 11:00 AM.

AMENITIES & FACILITIES

  •   Pool & Spa: The spa is heated! Please remember: no glass, no alcohol, and a limit of two guests per household.

  •   Clubhouse: Open until 10:00 PM. Please help us stay “green” by turning off lights and A/C before you leave.

  •   Key Fobs: Access is by fob only; please do not share these with non-residents.
