FEBRUARY FEELS AT CALABASAS VILLAGE

 

Happy February! Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day or just enjoying the beautiful winter weather, we hope you’re feeling right at home. We are so grateful for the residents who help keep our village clean, safe, and friendly.

 

COMMUNITY UPDATES & CARE

Park Manager Search: We are still looking for the perfect individual to join our team as Park Manager. If you have a referral who would be a great fit for our community, please have them submit a resume to jandh@jandhmgt.com.

Landscape Love: Our team is continuing to beautify the area around the tennis courts down to the Earnford guest parking. To keep our hills healthy, please remind guests and pets to stay off the hillside and ice plant areas during this maintenance.

Rental Assistance: A reminder that the City of Calabasas offers a Rental Assistance Program with subsidies of at least $290. If you’d like help applying, please reach out to us at J&H Management.

To help keep our community bright and safe during the winter months, we are pleased to offer the following:

Solar Lighting: For homes without existing outdoor light fixtures, we have solar lights available that can be installed on the front of your home.

Dusk-to-Dawn Bulbs: If you have an existing light fixture, we can provide “dusk-to-dawn” bulbs that automatically turn on at night and off in the morning.

If you would like to request an installation or a bulb, please contact Douglas.

WINTER SAFETY & UPKEEP

Fire Safety is Year-Round Because of our beautiful hillside location; we must remain vigilant. Please ensure carports and yards are free of excess storage and flammable items. A reminder that fireworks and wood-burning fire pits are strictly prohibited.

Water Awareness Even in the cooler months, every drop counts! Please check your lot for leaks and adjust your irrigation to avoid runoff. If you spot a community-area leak, please notify Douglas immediately.

Parking with Heart To keep our community safe and accessible for emergency vehicles:

No street parking is allowed (all lanes are fire lanes).

Please ensure vehicles do not extend past the gutter line.

Guest parking is reserved strictly for visitors.

 

AMENITIES & FACILITIES

Spa & Pool: The spa is heated and ready for your enjoyment! Please remember: no glass, no alcohol, and a limit of two guests per household.

Clubhouse: The clubhouse is available until 10:00 PM. Please help us save energy by turning off the lights and A/C when you leave.

Key Fobs: Access is by fob only. Please do not share fobs with non-residents; residents are responsible for all actions taken with their assigned fob.

 

TRASH & PET ETIQUETTE

Trash Day: Thursdays. Please pull your bins in promptly after collection.

Bulky Items: If you have large items, contact J&H by Monday at 11:00 AM to schedule a pickup. Do not leave items at the curb without an appointment.

Pets: We love our furry residents! Please continue to pick up after them and use the designated waste receptacles.
