Happy New Year! We hope you’re enjoying the start of 2026 and all that Calabasas Village has to offer. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe, clean, and welcoming.
COMMUNITY LANDSCAPE UPDATES
Thank you for your continued patience as we maintain and improve the property, including ongoing tree trimming, replacements, and other landscape enhancements.
PARK MANAGER POSITION
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the Park Manager role. If you know someone who may be interested in this opportunity, please have them submit their resume to jandh@jandhmgt.com for consideration. Your referrals are appreciated!
CITY OF CALABASAS RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Residents may qualify for the City of Calabasas’ Rental Assistance Program, providing monthly subsidies of at least $290. For questions or assistance applying, please contact J&H Management at jandh@jandhmgt.com.
FIRE SAFETY – YEAR-ROUND PRIORITY
Our hillside location requires continued caution:
- Fireworks are strictly prohibited (City ordinance)
- Remove flammable items and clutter around your home
- Wood-burning fire pits are not allowed
- Always keep BBQs attended and at a safe distance from your home
Thank you for helping keep our community safe.
WATER AWARENESS
Even in cooler months, conservation remains important:
- Check your home and landscaping for leaks
- Avoid overspray and runoff from sprinklers
- Never leave irrigation running unattended
Every effort counts!
PARKING REMINDERS
To keep our community safe and accessible:
- No street parking (all lanes are fire lanes)
- Guest parking is for guests only
- Oversized vehicles (RVs, boats, buses) are not permitted
- Vehicles blocking hydrants or extending past the gutter line may be cited or towed after proper notice
- Cones are for vendors actively working only; they do not reserve parking
Parking past the gutter line continues to be enforced.
HOME & SPACE MAINTENANCE
Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their lots. Periodic inspections will continue; notices may be issued if corrections are needed. Please also:
- Do not enter other residents’ lots
- Store belongings neatly
- Keep carports and yards free of excess storage and flammable items
POOL, SPA & KEY FOB REMINDERS
- Pool heating season ended (April 1–October 31)
- Spa remains heated year-round
- No glass, alcohol, or ice chests. Limit of two guests per household
- Clean up after use and follow posted rules; no soap or shampoo in the spa
- Access is by key fob only. Lost fobs must be reported; fobs may not be shared. Residents are responsible for actions taken with their fob
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking and vaping are not allowed in common areas (per City law). A designated smoking area is near the tennis courts across from the pool equipment building. Dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
TRASH, BULKY ITEMS & PETS
- Trash collection: Thursdays – please pull bins in promptly
- Do not place bulk items at the curb; contact J&H by Monday at 11 AM for large-item pickup
- Always pick up after pets and use designated waste receptacles
- Please ensure that your spaces are clear of any clutter in the carport and overgrown landscaping.
Note: Waste Management is currently experiencing a shortage of trash bins.
FACILITY USE & COURTESY
- Turn off lights and A/C when leaving shared spaces
- Clubhouse closes at 10:00 PM; return chairs and tables after use
- Courts open 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (limit play to 1 hour if others are waiting)
COMMUNITY UPDATES
- Maintenance will continue planting hedges around the tennis court down to Earnford guest parking.
- Hillside and ice plant areas remain off-limits to residents and pets while maintenance continues
- Do not tamper with community equipment or enter the maintenance yard (staff only)
